Downtown Conway's Annual Rivertown Christmas Celebration begins Thursday, November 29 with the City of Conway Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony and continues each Thursday night from 6:00-8:00 p.m. through December 13.
The shops of Downtown Conway are open until 8:00 p.m. each Thursday night to welcome holiday shoppers and offer a variety of gift-giving options for even the most difficult person on your list. Ring in the holiday season with lighting of the City of Conway Christmas Tree and the arrival of Santa Claus on Thursday, November 29 at 6:00 p.m. at Conway City Hall.
Window shopping takes on a whole new meaning with "Living Window" displays on December 6 from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. Downtown Conway merchants have recruited friends, family and neighbors create interactive shop windows featuring live actors.
Review your wish list with Santa as he greets visitors Thursday nights November 29, December 6 & December 13 from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. at 1019 4th Avenue. To keep the Santa line moving swiftly, a professional photographer will not be on site this year. Guests are invited to bring their own camera or phone to snap a few photos. Visits with Santa are sponsored by the William and Sallie Goldfinch Family.
On December 6 & 13 swing aboard a horse-drawn carriage at the corner of Laurel Street and 4th Avenue for a festive ride through downtown compliments of Conway National Bank. With all the hustle and bustle of the holiday season, Downtown Conway is the perfect place to escape the sea of retail sameness and enjoy an authentic Rivertown Christmas!
